Affairs of the Heart begin as the evolution of a persons extraordinary values become perceivably void of some area of life or special thing that they value. An affair usually is activated by a lustful sexual void yet this drives the value to find it; an affair may also be that you are not being fed emotionally therefore you go find where you are appreciated and fed emotionally by someone other than whom you reside with under the same roof.
Our greatest void in life as a child, as a teen, as a young adult, or as a maturing person becomes our greatest sought after value. Our greatest void becomes our greatest value. What we perceive as missing becomes what we go out to find.
Also we are all committed to our highest values and when our values are not met, we make transitions in life and evolve through change, evolution of who we are, what we do, and therefore what we have and who we have around us. You may have a love for your spouse, yet without honest communication, a love for them remains yet the fulfillment of life may take on someone different. The grass is not greener, the challenges are there to awaken us to our purpose in life besides eating drinking and having sex. We are evolved from being animals, and we shall discover our greatest potential in life by learning the lessons of our challenges in life. Most challenges begin with ill communication, non communication and therefore the vision of life ahead with that person is slightly tarnished. Some conversations are incredibly hard to have, yet after the earthquake of feelings, a new door opens to the light of the love that you felt in the beginning with them. Most people move away from this and just run into it again over time with a different person.....a cycle that never ends unless the truth and honesty comes alive as the greatest gift of loving yourself in life.
I have consulted world wide with various cultures which when the bottom line comes down to an answer.....the truth is every one is here in life to be loved and appreciated no matter your race, color, creed, nationality, etc. It is a natural urge in humanity to Love and be Loved.
An affair of lust or of love is created by the excitement to a life that truly nothing is indeed missing from. If you are having an affair, look at where your partner is having an affair? Everyone has an affair with what they love so much in life and it doesn't have to exist in the form of a relationship to some. Some have an affair with their mission in life, their furniture if they sell furniture (they stroke it as they show it, smile, love the sale!); some seem to focus on the kids and not their partner, then some indeed find a new emotionally serving or sexually serving partner that is not the spouse, and therefore begin to engage in private life events that touch the heart. This most of the time is an emerging SECRET that then begins the ingredients called guilt, shame, blame, and a diversion from the truth that allows one to love themself fully. The truth truly sets you free yet the fear of shaking the foundation of the home riddles the path with uncertainty of reaction from the spouse if the truth was told....or the person having the affair wants Both Worlds (the spouse and the affair) which then begins a vicious cycle of lies and ease becoming dis-ease "disease" over time in the realm of abnormal feelings constructing abnormal cellular structure creating cancer, heart disease, incongruent mental health, etc.
This touch of an affair of the heart is filling a perceived void and therefore becomes incredibly desirable because it is not able to be had all of the time.
